A memory foam mattress made for your Model Y or Model 3, custom-fit privacy curtains for your car, a quilt, 2 latex pillows, a brand-new bedding set, 2 camping chairs, a folding stool, a soft cooler bag, a folding water bucket, a picnic mat and a welcome pack, all in one large duffel bag. The bedding set, picnic mat and welcome pack are yours to keep. Please return everything else.

Every guest gets a brand-new, unused bedding set: a sheet, a duvet cover and 2 pillowcases. You keep it after your trip. The sheet covers the mattress, and the duvet cover and pillowcases go over the quilt and pillows.

The Tesla Model Y (Legacy / Earlier and Refreshed) and the Model 3 (all years). Choose your car when you book, and we prepare the mattress and curtains that fit. For a Model 3, that's all you need to choose: our Model 3 curtains fit every model year.

Any one of these checks is usually enough:

• Rear-seat screen. A Refreshed Model Y has a small touchscreen for rear passengers on the back of the center console. A Legacy Model Y doesn't.
• Tail lights. A Refreshed Model Y has one light bar across the full width of the tailgate. A Legacy Model Y has two separate tail lights.
• Model year (shown on your Turo listing). 2020 to 2024 is Legacy. 2026 and later is Refreshed. 2025 can be either, so use another check.

The kit is made for these two models only. We do not support the Model S, Model X, Model Y L, Cybertruck or other vehicles.

The mattress has two layers of memory foam, each 5 cm thick, shaped for your Model Y or Model 3. It switches between single and double, so it sleeps one or two people.

If you're taller than 190 cm (about 6 ft 3 in), ask us for a free extension board when you book. Availability is limited, so it's first come, first served.

Yes, pets are welcome. Please keep them off the mattress.

Fold the rear seats down, roll out the mattress, make the bed with your new bedding and put the curtains on window by window. Your welcome pack has a checklist and a QR code to short video guides.

Tesla vehicles have a built-in Camp Mode that can keep the climate running while you sleep. It's a feature of the car, not part of our kit, so check Tesla's guidance and your battery level before you rely on it.

$139.90 for 3 days and 2 nights, then $39.90 per extra day for days 4 to 9, and $19.90 per extra day from day 10. Handoff near LAX or USC is free.

New customers get $10 off. A participating Turo host's code gives $10 off and can be combined with the new-customer code, for $20 off in total. A friend referral code gives $10 off and cannot be combined with other codes. The most you can save on one booking is $20.

Choose a pickup and return area when you book. Near LAX, you collect and return your kit 24/7 at a luggage storage spot near the airport rental car area, and we cover the storage fee. Near USC, we meet you in person when the timing works, or leave your kit at a nearby storage spot for you to collect. We email the exact address, time and instructions after booking. You can return to the other area (LAX or USC) when our schedule allows. Other addresses need a ZIP check.

On the same day, often yes. If your kit is ready and it doesn't affect another booking, it's free. Contact us first to check. Returning early does not reduce the rental price.

Yes. When you pay for your rental we save your card. About 24 hours before pickup we place a $200 deposit authorization on it. It is a hold, not a charge, unless we need to cover damaged or missing equipment, which we discuss with you first. If the authorization does not go through, we email you so you can fix it before pickup. After you return the kit and we inspect it, we release the authorization within 2 business days. Your bank may take longer to show the released funds. See our Cancellation Policy.

At least 24 hours before your pickup time, so we can prepare your kit and arrange the handoff.

Cancel at least 24 hours before pickup for a full refund. If you cancel less than 24 hours before pickup, the first rental period ($139.90) is not refunded. See our Cancellation Policy.

Up to 1 hour late is free. After that, $39.90 per day applies. Please contact us early if your plans change.

Contact us. We work out a fair solution with you and explain any charge before it is processed. Any compensation will not exceed the value of that item. We recommend taking photos of the kit when you pick it up and before you return it, and keeping them until your deposit is released.

Rental items and their value

The bedding set, picnic mat and welcome pack are gifts and are not charged.

At campgrounds that allow car camping, and other places where overnight stays are permitted. Being allowed to park does not always mean being allowed to sleep overnight, and rules differ by city and property, so check before you stay.

Go to Manage my booking and enter your booking reference and email. We email you a secure link to see your booking, add it to your calendar, cancel it (free up to 24 hours before pickup) or ask for a change. Every booking email also has a "Manage my booking" button.

First check your spam or junk folder. If it isn't there, email us at hello@cozyroam.us with your booking reference (it starts with CR-). If you typed your email wrong, tell us the right address and we'll update your booking and resend the confirmation.
